All this thread needs in a single page is a re-post update from Kabong, Lya, Kromp, Jason, Kuban and Stuey.
Then this thread has served its purpose and I can fap in all discretion on a armchair somewhere in the back of [PhD]'s guildhall with a couple of emptied bottles of brandy on their marble floor.
.. yeah

Not a single FCK as given that day let me tell you
On that i would like to say bye to gwguru and friend. I will probably not post here again between now and the deadline coming soon.
Many things might be lost here but they will always stay with me somewhere. At some point guru was a turning point in my collecting / trade ''career'' and without it i wouldn't be where i stand now.
I would also like to appologize to Cosyfiep for being and ''ass'' here and there, nothing personnal i still think you did an awsome job keeping it together.
On that.
Love you all it been one hell of a great ride here !

Gz on the new stuff^
I didn't plan on posting my progress on these, but may as well since guru will be gone soon.
Thanks to everyone that have helped make these collections grow. Especially Firefighter Fred for helping to get the non-max collection started years ago.
Not exactly items of monetary value, but the rarity of some of the non-max stuff can be quite deceiving.

I think trading and collecting are two different things. Obviously, customizing means no trading, but that doesn't mean that not customizing indicates an intention to trade. By the way, no need to make trading sound "disrespectful"...business is business and without trading it would be even harder to do any collecting. This is true of collecting in both the game and in real life.0
I don't customize my treasures (which, as many of you know, I have no intention to sell) because it's the item that is being celebrated, not the fact that I own it. Does that leave my treasures as potential targets for hackers? Yes, but with great goodies comes great responsibility. Use mules. Don't be a tool with your login info. Change your password every so often. And so on.
There's a lot more to say about this, but I think it's an unnecessary distraction. I'm not trying to convince anyone to do anything, but I will go on preserving the treasures I own in their pristine state because I believe they deserve it.

Collecting is harder then you might think, so props to ALL the [email protected] collections(and collectors) here, from the hard-core to the just-for-fun ones.
Soooo many of the finest finds in GW posted here.
Lots of collections that put my handful of half-decent items to shame, so given that my last post in this thread was literally 1337 I should probably quit while I'm ahead , but my Elementalist collection has changed a tiny bit since, and I dare say I can top it.
So
#OneLastTime #NeverSayGodly #1stWorldProblems #InBeforeThe...
Thank you all for making the experience of collecting, and by extension playing GW, an enjoyable one.
Peace

Amazing collection Oofus!
I recognize some of those fire offhands-- glad they went to a fantastic home
Also, the addition of some staves brings a manly tear to my eye!
As you said earlier, way to show up these shield jockeys ... Ele collectors for life <3
